Fail2Ban Asterisk Log Path Bug

I have just installed issabel4-USB-DVD-x86_64-20170714.iso.

Regarding the new fail2ban option in security menu:

it is watching the logpath /var/log/asterisk/messages and that is wrong. All interesting stuff are happening in /var/log/asterisk/full otherwise fail2ban won't be blocking any of the hacking attempts to break in via SIP DDoS attacks.

mydigia Hi! there is no bug in that configuration. You can check the logger configuration by asterisk CLI:
issabel*CLI> logger show channels
Channel Type Status Configuration

/var/log/asterisk/messages File Enabled - NOTICE WARNING ERROR SECURITY
Console Enabled - DEBUG NOTICE WARNING ERROR VERBOSE
/var/log/asterisk/full File Enabled - DEBUG NOTICE WARNING ERROR VERBOSE

There is no /var/log/asterisk/messages in above, however /var/log/asterisk/messages does exist and contain SOME info...
