I configured "follow me" on an Issabel extension (default *72+"destination number") pointing calls to an external line (outgoing via PSTN).
Here we have 02 E1 trunks. The exit through these E1 is connected to the extension, through “Outbound Routes”. Ex.: Range of extensions from 0100 to 0199, leaving via E1 with prefix 7531 (E1 with numbers from 7531-0100 to 7531-0199). Range of extensions from 1200 to 1299, leaving via E1 with prefix 8420 (E1 with numbers from 8420-0200 to 8420-0299).
I noticed that, when another extension calls the number with "follow me" configured, regardless of whether it is 0XXX or 1XXX, the "follow me" works normally, leaving with the corresponding originating number/extension. In this case, if the origin extension is 0111, it comes out with the origin number 7531-0111.
However, when it comes to a call coming from the PSTN (Cellular or Landline), to that extension with "follow me" configured, "follow me" does not work and the dialed number receives the message "This call cannot be completed ".
Based on this, I understand that I have to configure something so that when the call comes from outside and is automatically redirected by "follow me", the dialer number is changed to an internal extension, so that it can go out via the correct E1.
Is it possible to do this configuration? How ?
The best thing would be if, despite the dialer number changing, the number that should appear on the receiving phone was the original dialer number.
It's possible ? How ?
Is my analysis correct? Who can help me ?
Thanks in advance.
