Ok, so it looks like the issue is happening even before sending the email.

How do your iax2 registrations look? Are the iax2 extensions registered for the virtual faxes?

I was able to create 2 virtual faxes and send faxes between them without problems when testing using the latest Issabel iso

Maybe something breaks when you're importing an Elastix backup?

I see,
The question would be if the fax calls are being placed or received. Do you see them on the logs?

The other thing I would try is to create another virtual fax a send a fax between them, that way we would be able to get close to the root of the problem.

When I send a fax the other side receives it.

I can also confirm that the fax I receive is present on /var/spool/hylafax/recvq as a tif file.

Ok I think I was able to reproduce your issue,
Couple things we can try,
First of all, lets see the permissions on the fax.db
ls -la /var/www/db/ | grep fax

If you don't have read and write permissions, try:
chmod 666 /var/www/db/fax.db

If that doesn't work we can recreate the fax.db database.

Let me know how it goes.

It worked

Two last questions:

1 - On the "Fax Viewer" the date is incorrect. My box has the correct timezone configured and the time is correct. But on the Fax Viewer it shows the incorrect time, any way to fix it?

2 - Regarding the tests that I did, is it safe to manually delete the faxes? At what locations are they located?

Hi,
Are you talking about the new faxes having the wrong date or the old?

If its about the old the fax information is stored into the fax.db sqlite3 database so if want to change it you'd have to do it manually.

The PDFs are stored under the /var/www/faxes/

If your date is correct when you execute the command date, maybe php's date is wrong.

What does "grep timezone /etc/php.ini" shows?

Hello.

I arrive to this post so late but I'll describe my experience.

My problem was the same that seederp2p, people send me faxes, all ok in the other side but in my Issabel there was no faxes, no emails and nothing new in the fax viewer. My PBX was migrated from Elastix too.

I did all that bustosjuan said and all work now fine. In ask to the question of the time zone, my php.ini had ";date.timezone =" (commented and empty" and I modified it to "date.timezone = Europe/Madrid
" and the time was ok.

I hope it help any one.

Hi, I have the same issue. Fax Viewer has all the old faxes but not the new ones! I was able to set the php time zone but it wasn't fix anything. Faxes are received and sent normally but there is no new fax in fax.db!! How can I recreate the fax.db ? @bustosjuan

check the time
