Hi all,

I able to see 2 odbc connections in "odbc show all" command.

d1entfsrcplv1*CLI> odbc show all

ODBC DSN Settings

Name: asteriskcdrdb
DSN: MySQL-asteriskcdrdb
Number of active connections: 1 (out of 1)
Logging: Disabled

Name: asterisk
DSN: asterisk
Number of active connections: 1 (out of 1)
Logging: Disabled

I am able to get the reason for "asteriskcdrdb" odbc connection. It is for cdr entry.

Could u please any one can explain the reason for asterisk odbc connection ? since the issabel pbx generate only asterisk configs files after apply right ?

I am just asking when this odbc asterisk connection will use ?

All the GUI information is stored in the database.
Call Detail Records are written to the database for every call

Hi,

Actually the php GUI communicate directly to mysql asterisk database not via ASTERISK odbc.

I disabled asterisk odbc connection in res_odbc.conf .Still things are going fine.

I think asterisk odbc connection in res_odbc_additional.conf is useless.

Any one can explain ?
