Open Source Alternative for A2Billing??

Greetings,

I know that the Issabel staff does not encourage people to install and use A2Billing due to its security breaches but I have used it for 8 years to bill my customers and it has worked fine except by the invoice and automatic billing features which are buggy but I've survived without them so far.

I take the opportunity to ask everybody if any of you know of a better (or equally good) Class 4/5 SoftSwitch alternative for VoIP billing that I could learn and use instead of A2Billing.

I was just wondering if you did find an alternative billing solution other than a2billing? I am also using a2billing now for over 5 years and still works great but was just wondering what alternatives there might be that are also good.

I'm interested on installing a2billing 2.2.0 but I don't want to compromise my pbx server security... have you experienced any security issues? I think about shutting down all http and https traffic in the public IP address and limit web access to localhost and/or VPN network.
