Hi!

First of all I am a complete newbie about Issabel and VoIP in general, so please, be patient.

After installation of Issabel (using wget -O- https://sourceforge.net/projects/issabelpbx/files/Issabel%204/issabel4-asterisk13-netinstall.sh/download | bash) under CentOS 7 under LXD cointainer under Ubuntu 18.04, Dashboard->Processes Status-> Fax Service is saying "NOT INSTALLED".
The question is: how can I install the Fax Service?

If anyone wonders how I resolved this issue:
I've simply installed Issabel from installation disk on phisical machine and copied it into the container.

Got the same setup (Ubuntu host with LXD CentOS 7 container) and ran into the same problem. What exactly did you copy over? Did you just do /var/lib/asterisk and /etc/asterisk or just copied the whole install? We are recovering from a backup so most of the asterisk settings for the fax will be there, probally just not the hylafax modem. Thanks

Hello.
I installed Issabel5 yesterday. FAX service is not installed for me too. I installed from ISO provided in website.
Anyone can help?

I had to reinstall my Issabel and thus finally found the problem.
The reason was that the unprivileged container couldn't create /var/spool/hylafax/dev/null.
I simply created it from outside the container (copied it actually) and that's all.
