It would be really convenient if there was an automated backup process that ran every night to allow me to have a warm standby - it would backup the PBX settings (extensions, greetings etc) but NOT the SIP IP address sessings and restore them in an automated way. I can't find a good article describing step by step of Issabel, and this is built into other Asterisk based products. It would be really nice to have this setup in Issabel as well. Thank you for your consideration of this feature request.

Yo can do this using MariaDB replication and copy the recording files using Rsync on a Crontab, it works perfect for me including Call Center.

Well this is a good start, but would you be willing, by chance, to write a bit of a detail into that? I imagine both myself and others would be very grateful for the time saved if you can simply reproduce what you did that worked for you here. something like enter this command, enter that command. You can probably omit how to install rsync and make a crontab entry, but the commands / configuration / specific directories would be a bit deal to save time. If we had a walk through it would really make Issabel a great option for those who need warm standby.

I was wondering if I could bump this and ask if anyone else has a little more detail available on what exactly to replicate and how. It's an ISO standard install of Issabel we're using.

Kinda, ya, but warm standby.

Anyway, for anyone who needs to do this, the easiest way is to use the Unembedded Issable and the Backup/Restore Module in this. It can be automatically run every day (or more than once a day) and restores everything I need (DID, Groups, Queues, extensions, voicemail etc) and does not update the SIP IP so the standby server is all set to go no issues.
