I have an elastix box currently that we are having issues with "Maximum PBX stack exceeded" We have approximately 400 DID's both Inbound and outbound, and around 300 Extensions. The problems really start acting up when outbound pattern match is being used and it is causing all sorts of errors. I have read lots of possible reasons from it being a hard limit of Asterisk, to bad modules creating too many lines of code to process. Does Issabel have hard limits in the number of extensions, call routes, time conditions, etc? I need to fix this issue fast but am not sure that Issabel is ready for such a large production system. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!

soborno When the system is attempting to match a pattern I.E. when an extensions dials 8045551212 the system is looking for a match of 804NXXXXXX it simply times out or generates a service error recording. It appears that anything over about 100 DID outbound routes generates the error.

I use Elastix 3 with SSD Raid 1 and around 1000 users, the server is not even at 10%

morsepi Well, for the numbers you are posting, it seems you are far from something like a hard-limit, so I would look the problem in some other place.

There are several factors that can make that type of behavior, for start is good if you post your asterisk and elastix version, and also your codec of choice.

Also, when do you see this problem? when there are several concurrent calls? if so when it start? Does it happen all day long or an specific time? and lastly does your system reports some hard disk issues or large memory consumption?
